By accessing and using HEIF Converter ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

HEIF Converter is a free, browser-based tool that converts HEIF and HEIC image files to JPG, PNG, and SVG formats. The Service operates entirely within your browser and does not upload your files to any server.

3. Free to Use

The Service is provided free of charge with no usage limits. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or premium tiers in the future, but core conversion functionality will remain free.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to convert images you do not own or do not have rights to convert
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disable, or interfere with the Service
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the Service
• Use the Service in a manner that could damage, overburden, or impair it

5. Intellectual Property

The Service uses the open-source heic2any library (MIT License) and JSZip (MIT License). The website design, content, and branding are owned by the operator of HEIF Converter. You retain all rights to your images — we do not claim any ownership over files you convert.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Guarantees that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free
• Guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of conversion output

We make no warranty that HEIF files will be converted successfully on all devices or browsers. Conversion quality depends on the heic2any library and your device's capabilities.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HEIF Converter and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which is $0 for a free service).

8. Advertising

The Service displays advertisements via Google AdSense to support its operation. By using the Service, you agree to the display of contextual advertising. Ad personalisation is subject to your cookie consent preferences.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Your use of those services is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.
